I also hold a current Working With Children Check. Gift Certificates : Must be used by the date written on the voucher. They are not refundable as cash, and must be used to book online for current workshops where spaces are available. Although you will be updated by email of upcoming classes, it is the gift certificate holder's responsibility to find and book in a suitable workshop by the date specified on the gift certificate. Term Class: Maximum class size is 8 students Refunds or credits will not be given for cancellation of a session for illness or other reason as materials are purchased and lessons planned for the whole term. If a student has missed a session due to illness they can attend a different session if space allows. Holiday Workshop: Maximum class size is 8 students. If your child does not attend a workshop due to illness a credit may be issued to be used for future workshops. Credits will be given for non attendance if more than 3 days notice is given. No refunds available. A class may be cancelled if there is only one attendee and a credit offered. What if my child becomes sick during the workshop? A child will not be allowed to attend a face to face workshop if showing symptoms of being sick. If a child becomes sick during the day, the parent/guardian will be expected to collect the child from the workshop promptly. Online Zoom Sessions Cancellations are not permitted but sessions can be rescheduled if 48 hours notice is given. We strive to foster an inclusive environment where children can explore creative activities in a safe and encouraging environment, where their opinions and efforts are valued. Children will be encouraged to participate in all the activities with teachers making allowances for the age and ability of each child to ensure their safety. Children are supervised by staff at all times A child is required to bring own asthma inhaler and epipen if required and action plan from doctor. All staff have emergency e-training https://etraining.allergy.org.au/ At the time of booking, parent’s/guardians are obligated to disclose any special requirements or special needs of their child that may require modification to the planning and participation in activities. A child will only be released at the end of the session directly to nominated adult/guardian.
Staff All staff have a Working With Children Check authorisation and are experienced trained or in training school teachers. Staff are kept up to date with changes in policy and Child Safety practices and sign a Code of Conduct statement. Staff are trained in identifying potential risks and are given strategies to take action on managing these risks.
Social Media Policy All personal information collected will be only accessed by relevant staff and will not be disclosed to other sources. Photographs of children’s work may be taken only with permission of parent/guardian and may be used in advertising flyers digital and printed or on our social media platforms and web site. No names or photos of children faces or other will be posted on social media platforms or web sites.
